ApprovedExtras ("we", "us") helps tradespeople document and get paid for out-of-scope ("extra") work. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how to control it. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.
What we collect

How we use it
- To operate, maintain, and secure the app.
- To generate the messages and records you ask the app to produce.
- To enforce free-tier limits and prevent abuse.
Message-generation features may process the text you submit through a language model operated on our own infrastructure. Your content is not used to train third-party models.
Storage & security
Data is stored on our managed servers and database. Photos are kept in private cloud storage and served only through short-lived, signed links. Access is restricted and traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
Sharing
We share data only with infrastructure providers that operate the service on our behalf (hosting, database, cloud storage, email delivery, and the app stores for billing), and where required by law. We never sell your data.
Retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete account in the app, or by request — see how to delete your account. Deletion is permanent.
Children
ApprovedExtras is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to children under 13.

We will update this page if our practices change and revise the date above.
